Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging is using an infra-red camera to find worn out breakers, loose connections, and loose wire nuts. It is used as preventative maintenance, as well as a way to prevent fires. We go in and open up your panels, disconnects, motor starters, and transformers. We also take current readings on items that are operating at high temperatures. Then, we take pictures with the infra-red camera to identify any problems. After that, we look at the pictures on a computer using a special software program to find any problems. Lastly, a report is made stating the problems and recommendations on how to fix them.
